INFINITELY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC F16H15/52

Abstract RU 2332599 C2

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention related to machine building and can be used in vehicle transmissions, in particular, those of the cars. The infinitely variable transmission incorporates a planetary disk speed variator, rotary levers (12) and gear ration variation mechanism. The latter represents a mechanical transmission linking the planetary disk speed variator spider (10), ends (13) of rotary levers (12) with brake disks (23) and braking elements (21,22) interlinked to control, in turns, the brakes. The brake control device is arranged on housing (4). The infinitely variable transmission contains no power transmission gears, even in the version of a car gear box.

EFFECT: variator control lower power consumption, simpler variator design, improved performances of the infinitely variable transmission.
