FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport machine building and can be used as continuously variable transmission for automotive and other transport means. The drive contains variable reversible transmission (1), drive control mechanism, including differential gear (4) and matching gear (5). Differential gear (4) consists of two differential mechanisms (7, 9) kinematically connected with continuously-variable transmission (1). In the first differential mechanism (7), the carrier (6) is connected with output link of continuously-variable transmission (1). In the second differential mechanism (9), one of central wheels (8) is connected with output link of continuously-variable transmission (1). The matching gear (5) periodically connects its shaft with one of central wheels of the first differential mechanisms (7) and with the carrier of the second differential mechanism (9). Gear ratios of gear pairs formed by kinematical connection of differential and matching gears are made so that rotation of any two driven links coaxial with shaft of matching gear (5) and periodically engaging with this shaft is of the same frequency and direction.
EFFECT: invention permits to simplify transmission control mechanism and provides possibility of use within drive of any known types of variators.
