FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, particularly forensic medicine, and can be applied in preliminary confirmation of drug and/or powerful chemical intoxication by blood serum examination. To implement the method, blood serum pH is defined, and wedge dehydration of blood serum is performed by drying a drop of blood serum on a horizontal object glass at the room temperature for 18-24 hours and further analysing of the dehydrated drop structure with light microscope. If blood serum pH is under 6.8 and dash fissures are present in the central area of the dehydrated drop, then drug and/or powerful chemical intoxication is confirmed.
EFFECT: objective confirmation of suspected drug or powerful chemical intoxication in short time.
