FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: device for optical fiber treatment contains reactors that contain optical fiber, one suction pump, deposit chamber, in which gas is supplied that contains deuterium, and part of circuit that includes multiple valves installed in multiple channels that connect reactors, second suction pump and deposit chamber. Part of circuit includes first channel for return of gas, which contains deuterium, from reactor chamber to deposit chamber, second channel for air supply to reactor chamber, thus providing pressure, third channel for decompression of reactor chamber and fourth channel for supply of gas that contains deuterium from deposit chamber into reactor chamber. Also method is suggested for treatment of optical fiber with deuterium with application of specified device.

EFFECT: simplification and reduction in price of optical fiber treatment.
