SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to a system for vacuuming a container for food products, as well as to the vacuum pump, container and the implementation method. The system consists of a vacuum pump, lid and container, closed by the lid. On either the lid or the container, on the channel for passage of the stream, directed from outside to the inside, there is valve which, after the vacuum has been formed inside the container using the vacuum pump, tightly seals the container from penetration of atmospheric air. Besides that, on the suction duct of the vacuum pump, there is a distribution valve which is brought into open state every time it is connected to the channel for stream passage on the lid or on the container, through the support surface, located on the container or the lid. As a result, the suction duct in the vacuum pump becomes free.

EFFECT: only vacuum pumps which form the suitable pressure in the container can be put on the valve device.
