FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns ferrous metallurgy. Particularly, it concerns method of steel smelting in arc steel-smelting furnace. Method includes feeding into furnace scrap metal and liquid cast iron, smelting, oxidation period, steel smelting with part of metal reservation in furnace. While tapping into casting ladle it is implemented slag cutoff. During tapping it is added hard slag-forming mixture and deoxidizers. Into casting ladle it is added lime and calcium carbide at a ratio (0.3-0.9):(0.10-0.70), respectively, at quantity 1-1.8% of liquid steel mass and manganese and silicon alloys at a rate of manganese introduction 0.30%, silicon introduction 0.15%. It is implemented steel treatment at aggregate "ladle-furnace". Before treatment at aggregate "ladle-furnace" it is added into ladle coke at a quantity 0.1-0.3% of liquid steel mass. Steel is blown by argon with consumption 15-45 nm3/hour during 20-30 minutes. Method allows reducing of oxygen and sulphur concentration in steel, reducing of ferroalloy consumption, and also increasing of steel mechanical properties complex.
EFFECT: reducing of oxygen and sulphur concentration in steel, reducing of ferroalloy consumption, and also increasing of steel mechanical properties complex.
