FIELD: petroleum industry.

SUBSTANCE: method can be used in oil and gas production industry, particularly in development of oil, gas and bitumen fields in upstructure portions, which as to the relief of the day surface correspond to watersheds of rivers. The substance of the invention is as follows: the value of the vertical drop of absolute elevations on the structural plan of the productive formation is calculated by the analytical expression. For this purpose mean values of vertical drop of absolute elevations on the structural plan of the day surface on wells drilled parallel to each line selected between the watershed and the fluvial or ravine zones within the limits of the field are determined additionally. Mean values of vertical drop of absolute elevations on the structural plan over the formation top parallel to each line selected over the same wells, on which values of vertical drop of absolute elevations on the structural plan of the day surface were taken are determined. The mean values of absolute elevations on the structural plan of the day surface on wells drilled parallel to each line selected between the watershed and the fluvial or ravine zones within the limits of the field are determined. Absolute elevations on the structural plan of the productive formation are calculated by the analytical expression. Basing on the data obtained the value of vertical drop of absolute elevations on the same wells, on which absolute elevation on the structural plan of the day surface were taken, are analysed. The structural plan of the productive formation is revised. Dislocation and drilling of production and injection wells is performed parallel to each line selected on the areas of increased absolute elevations on the structural plan over the productive formation top.

EFFECT: increased technological and economic effectiveness of development of oil fields in upstructure portions, prolongation of the dry periods of operation of wells.
