FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic machinery, particularly to submerged centrifugal pumping units used for petroleum production at oil fields. The unit incorporates an intake module with a hollow shaft with splines arranged on the inner top and bottom surfaces for connection with the pump and protector shafts. The shaft is furnished with sleeves, O-rings and grooves on its outer surface locking the shaft in the intake module housing. A flexible rod is arranged inside the shaft to prevent axial travel of the intake module shaft in operation of the said pumping unit.
EFFECT: higher reliability of submerged centrifugal pumping unit.
