FIELD: constructional engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to open-ended union connections designed to join pipe to aperture of greater size, forming passway containing direct and inclined sections. The direct section has fixed internal diameter concentric relative to central line and having dimensions compatible to seat external diameter of the pipeline. The inclined section contains narrow end with internal diameter smaller than that of wide end and of direct section, and at least equal to internal diameter of the pipeline. The inclined section has the upper part over the central line which, at least, partially increases in radius from the narrow to the wide end. The lower part has fixed radius, at least, along line passing between the narrow and wide end in position, similar to six o'clock position of dial hand relative to the open end of inclined section. The butt slot contains sealing ring and levelling ear and fixes union rotary position.
EFFECT: improved joint reliability.
