FIELD: metrology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computation and metrology and can be used in power engineering to control averaged frequency in industrial AC 50Hz/60Hz power supply circuits. The proposed invention simplifies the meter circuitry, increase its operating speed and accuracy. The proposed meter incorporates an input terminal, lower frequency filter, a comparator, a reference voltage source, four one-shots, rectangular pulse generator, a timer, a RAM, three registers, a first and second adders, a correction unit, a first and second division units, an indicator, a multiplier unit, a first and second counters, an OR element, a trigger and period number setting unit.
EFFECT: simpler circuitry, faster operation and higher accuracy.
