FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: masking device includes optical cell containing element with partial reflection of spot radiation represented by partially reflecting mirror provided either inside additional split light-separating prism, or on its internal surface at an angle 12° to 45° to optical axis of input optics. Light traps are arranged within spot radiation reflection path from the aforesaid mirror. Light traps can be made as light-absorbing coatings applied either on cell surface or on lateral surfaces of split prism, or as blackbodies. The mirror coating of partially reflecting mirror can be provided with transmission factor within 6 to 60%.
EFFECT: effective masking of optical system from spot radiation due to high or specified degree of reflected spot radiation suppression.
