FIELD: lighting technology.
SUBSTANCE: illumination apparatus has at least one or more light sources on a line, and a mirror system, which serves as a reflector, and passes parallel to the line of light sources and has an optical axis perpendicular to them. The above mentioned mirror system consists of plane mirrors and has at least one primary mirror, which has a structure, which forms at least one linear image of the light source, parallel to the mirror system, and at least one secondary mirror, which reflects at least one linear image on the optical axis or on a region near the optical axis, illuminating an object on the line parallel to the mirror system.
EFFECT: uniform illumination with high brightness, small energy consumption, simplification of the technology of production and lower cost.
