FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to electrical engineering, to converting technology and is meant for converting electrical energy of three- and single-phase voltage and current. The alternatives of devices for converting electrical energy provide for coupling modes of operation of three-phase networks and single-phase consumers, for which requirements of symmetry of three-phase voltage and current are sufficiently met. Due to the linearity of the characteristics which are part of the converter elements, the proposed schematic circuit diagrams, the set of elements of the device and the ratio of parameters of elements, the quality of electrical energy in the electrical networks and the consumer is increased. This means the standard which is necessary for electromagnetic compatibility of sources and receivers of electrical energy is achieved. The alternatives of devices for reversible conversion of electrical energy of three-phase and single-phase voltage and current consists of a single-phase transformer or autotransformer, three-phase transformer, two units of ballast reactive elements - capacitors and inductors, and a unit for controlling the ballast reactive elements and control of the symmetric mode of operation of the converter. Control of the symmetric mode of operation of the converter and control of the reactive ballast elements is achieved by measuring the amplitude of single-phase currents and voltages and the shift angle between them and depending on the value and sign of deviation of measured values of the effect on parameters of reactive ballast elements.
EFFECT: increased power during operation from three-phase primary networks with symmetric loading of the latter, wider functional capabilities due to more alternatives of designing power supply circuits for single-phase consumers, symmetrical power supply to three-phase consumers from a single-phase primary network.
