FIELD: electrical engineering; AC-DC converters.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at transformer converter substations. The technical result consists in increasing the electromagnetic compatibility of the converter with the power supply system, reducing the weight and size parameters of the device and increasing the rigidity of the external characteristics of the converter. This is achieved by connecting the primary windings of a three-winding transformer, connected in a star configuration, to a three-phase electrical network. The phases of the two secondary windings are open, and the inputs of single-phase rectifiers are connected to the terminals of the windings. On the combined DC buses of single-phase rectifiers in the base and booster channels of the electrical energy flow, the instantaneous values of the rectified voltage and current are summed up. The buses of the base and booster channels are connected in series through semiconductor DC-DC reverse current distributors of single-phase rectifiers in each channel. The alternating component in the rectified current circuit is reduced by a reactor installed in the cross section of the positive bus at the output of the converter. The rectified voltage is changed using a load voltage regulator by switching the number of turns of the primary winding of the transformer depending on the load current of the converter.
EFFECT: increasing the electromagnetic compatibility of the converter with the power supply system, reducing the weight and size parameters of the device and increasing the rigidity of the external characteristics of the converter.
