FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to method of signals shaping and can be used to increase digital-to-analogue converter linearity. Technical result is achieved due to correction of nonlinear distortions through DAC calibration combined with detection relation of DAC output voltage to code received by DAC input. Calibration results are taken into account when forming pulse-duration modulation with signal precorrection using estimation of input signal DAC transformation error caused by final capacity, as well as by nonlinearity of the DAC transformation characteristic and approximations of the pulse-duration modulation error by signal precorrection.
EFFECT: essential decrease in distortions within low-frequency range of output signal that allows for an increase in effective DAC resolution within low frequency range.
