FIELD: radio communications. SUBSTANCE: signal received by radio communication device is demodulated to shape common-mode and quadrature digital components of modulating frequency band signal. Level of signal received is determined from signals obtained and resulting digital signal is controlled to ensure log characteristic. This signal is then integrated to shape digital control signal for amplifier from automatic gain control of receiver. For shaping amplifier control signal from automatic gain control of transmitter, AGC- tuning digital signal is filtered off and added to scaled command of closed power control circuit. Commands of closed power control circuit are ignored if they cause increase in gain during transmission above value desired for output power maximum. Output signals of amplifiers coming from transmitter and receiver AGCs are linearized by means of transmitter and receiver linearizers, respectively, which bring pre-distortions in AGC tuning signals before they arrive at digital-to-analog converters. EFFECT: improved linearity of automatic gain control. 12 cl, 10 dwg
