SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the system and method of selective renewal of the saved data sets versions in a wireless device. The wireless device contains a file with the summary data about versions of residential data sets that identifies a version of each residential data set and, after the device tries to establish connection with the load server, the wireless device compares the version of each specific residential data set, enumerated in the summary data file of residential data set versions, stored in the load server, to determine whether the version of residential data set of wireless device differs from the version of residential data set of load server. If the residential load server's data set is newer than the wireless device can load it for rewriting the residential data set in the wireless device.
EFFECT: enhancement of functional abilities.
