FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, particularly devices for biological cavity processing (sanation by irrigation or washing), e.g. of purulent pleuropulmonary cavities, by moving fluid jet, and can be applied in treatment of purulent diseases and complications of soft tissues in thorax surgery. The device includes source of pressurised fluid connected to hollow cylindrical shell equipped with fitting for connection to the fluid source at one end and hollow nozzle with an orifice at the other end. The nozzle has two cylindrical inserts. First cylindrical insert features conical ends and screw groove over he side surface. The second insert is mounted close to the nozzle end and features narrowing axis canal, so that the outlet hole of the axis canal matches with the nozzle orifice. The device ensures high sanifying washing effect in biological cavity processing due to larger coverage of processed area and amplified kinetic properties of moving fluid.
EFFECT: high sanifying and washing efficiency of device for biological cavity processing.
