METHOD OF TREATMENT OF ADENORINOSINUSITIS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61K33/08 A61N7/00 A61P11/00

Abstract RU 2662925 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology, and can be used to treat adenorinosusitis in patients. For this purpose, aspiration washing of the paranasal sinuses is performed using an electric aspirator. After that, sounding of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses through the contact solution is carried out by insertion of the device into the nasal cavity. In this case, the method of treatment of adeno-nasinusitis is carried out in two stages. In the first stage, the patient is placed in one half of the nose with a device consisting of a waveguide with a hemispherical working end connected to the vessel with a washing solution and an electric pump. After that, treatment is carried out to “clean flush water”. Sounding is carried out bilateral from the horizontal position of the instrument, including the nasal cavity, the paranasal sinuses of both sides and the adenoid vegetations of the nasopharynx so that the solution is directed into the nasal cavity through one half of it, and aspirated through the opposite one. At the second stage, in adenoid vegetations of 1-2 degrees, irrigation of the entire mucous membrane of the nasal cavity and the anterior parts of the adenoid vegetations is carried out. In adenoid vegetations of 3-4 degrees, the procedure is supplemented by irrigation through an ultrasonic waveguide-sprays through the oral cavity with the direction of the drug stream upward. Course of treatment is 3–5 sessions in accordance with the dynamics of recovery every day or every other day. As a washing solution, 0.3 % hydrogen peroxide or saline is used. In treatment of exudative and suppurative adenorinosinusitis, antiseptics are used as the drug solution. In treatment of catarrhal and reparative adenorinosinusitis, a solution of topical corticosteroids is used as the drug solution.

EFFECT: invention allows noninvasive sanitation of nasopharynx, nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses in adenoiditis, adenorinosusitis by using low-frequency ultrasound in combination with drug solutions.
