FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for rolling of strips in rolling mill cage, which includes two working rollers that move in axial direction and are equipped with convex-concave or similar profile, the bent profile of which is described with polynomial of third or higher order. Equalisation of working rollers wear uniformity together with the possibility of profile and planarity control, is provided by the fact that by means of cyclical change of working rollers anti-crossbreak from one strip to the other in specifically preset segment of their positioning range, more significant cyclical axial movement of working rollers is simultaneously caused or forced, at that by means of application of process model in on-line mode value of cyclical axial displacement is controlled and limited.
EFFECT: development of efficient method of steel strips rolling with reduction of equipment wear.
