FIELD: rolling mills with working rolls of different diameters.
SUBSTANCE: rolling mill for producing flat rolled strips with desired cross thickness difference includes rolling rolls of different diameters, at least one backup roll. Large-diameter rolling roll is joined with drive unit; small diameter rolling roll may rotate together with large-diameter roll as idle roll. Backup and rolling rolls are mounted in rolling stand with possibility of axial motion. At least one rolling roll is mounted with possibility of adjustment in direction of rolled strip outlet. Barrel profiles of backup and rolling rolls may have curvilinear CVC-contour defined by means of polynom at least of second order with displacement by 180°. Said CVC-contour has both contours of rolling roll barrels that complement each other to symmetrical contour of inter-roll gap. In order to compensate different type of bending and flattening, rolling rolls have different CVC-contours that are calculated with use of 5-order polynom, possibly 5-order polynom.
EFFECT: possibility for producing high-quality strips at universal usage of rolling stands.
