FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transportation and is designed to update electric rolling stock low-voltage circuitry power supplies. The power supply incorporates the primary power converter and a charging module with their inputs connected to the DC power supply line. The primary power converter output is connected to the load, the charging module output is wired to the storage battery. The invention novelty consists in that the electric locomotive low-voltage circuitry incorporates a diode with its anode connected to the storage battery and its cathode wired to the connection point of the primary power converter and charging module inputs. The power supply additionally incorporates a contactor, its N.C. contacts connecting the storage battery to the load. In case the AC power supply is used, the device cuts in additional power rectifier.
EFFECT: higher-quality transient processes in low-voltage circuitry and higher reliability.
