FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to obtaining 1,3-phenylenbismaleimide, which is used as chemical modifier for resin mixtures, as well as in production of heat-resistant polymers. Method is realised by means of interaction of malein anhydrate with 1,3-phenylendiamin in acetone medium with further dehydrocyclisation of the formed phenylenedimaleamin acid in presence of acetic anhydride and catalyst. Reaction of interaction of malein anhydrate with 1,3-phenylendiamin is carried out in presence of compound chosen from the line including saturated and unsaturated synthetic fatty acids C10-C18 and taken in amount of 5-10% of the mass of original 1,3-phenylendiamin.
EFFECT: increasedf output of 1,3-phenylenebismaleimide.
