FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a depressor-dispersant additive to diesel fuel, comprising a mixture of depressor and dispersant components, wherein as a depressant component it contains a polymer compound obtained by a radical copolymerisation reaction of maleic anhydride and fraction of 1-olefins C8-C24, extracted from products of thermal catalytic oligomerization of ethylene, initiated by dibenzoyl peroxide, with ratio of initial reagents of 1:1 at 65–75 °C for 6–8 hours in an appropriate hydrocarbon solvent, and the dispersant component is a polymer compound, obtained by a metathesis copolymerisation reaction of functionalised norbornene – n-butyl bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-ene-2-carboxylate, synthetic divinyl rubber and 1-octene in the presence of a metal complex dimethyl ruthenium catalyst – ([1,3-bis-(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)-2-imidazole-idynylidene]dichloro(o-N,N-dimethylamino-methylphenylmethylene) ruthenium, at ratio of functionalised norbornene : divinyl rubber 1:15, ratio of catalyst to olefins in reaction mixture 1:400,000, at temperature of 60–70 °C for 6–8 hours, then reaction mixture is hydrogenated with hydrogen in the presence of palladium, filtered through aluminum oxide and the filtrate is evaporated, where the depressant and dispersing components are contained in the additive in ratio from 2:7 to 7:2 by weight. Also disclosed is a method of producing depressor-dispersant additive for diesel fuel.

EFFECT: anti-wear properties and improved operational characteristics of diesel fuel, reduced limiting temperature of filterability of diesel fuel by 10–23 °C, providing sedimentation stability during its cold storage, as well as reducing the diameter of wear spot of DF by 130–315 mcm.
