FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanised liquid-operated track tools to advance railway track sections for elimination of thermal strains and provision of normal joint rail gaps. The pusher incorporates two hydraulic cylinders, two transverse beams, each with two axles to accommodate rail grip cams with clamps so that to allow them to turn and to be retained against an axial shift. One pair of cams is linked to the hydraulic cylinder sleeve, the other one being linked to the cylinder rods. The pusher comprises also a hydraulic drive with a hydraulic pump, its working space communicating with the hydraulic cylinder piston and rod spaces. The clamps are linked to the cams to turn relative to the latter. The clamp contact surfaces are cylindrical furnished with skew dents, their teeth being asymmetric in cross-section. The tooth and their profile direction angles on one pair of clamps are opposite to those of the other pair of clamps. There are flat sites on two angles along the tooth contact surface diagonal arranged to the tooth depth. The cam axles are furnished with annular slots receiving the cam retaining plates to fix them on their axles. The said plates can turn relative to the cams and get locked on the cams. The hydraulic pump, tank and control unit are arranged consecutively on the frame and jointed together with seals so that their hydraulic channels are integrated.
