FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: electrical connector is designed to connect the cable conductors of a device (machine) to a terminal or a socket of the electrical connector assembly. The connector incorporates the first and second parts having the first and second fixing surfaces, the first and second additional surfaces forming the first and second contact surfaces, respectively. The second part is furnished with a ledge to fasten the device cable conductor, the said ledge being electrically connected with the second contact surface. The contact surfaces are made so that, with the fixing surfaces mating, the aforesaid surfaces make an electrical contact between themselves to ensure the electrical contact between the device cable conductor and the terminal or socket.

EFFECT: easier assembly and higher electrical characteristics.
