FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: a method of the feeding of a load by direct current in an autonomous electric power supply system of a man-made satellite is proposed from a source of the limited power, for example the solar battery, and the complete set from secondary sources of electric power - the storage batteries, consisting of voltage regulation on the load, conducting charge - discharge cycles through individual charge and discharge converters, the control of the storage batteries and carrying out routine maintenance of the storage batteries. The essence of the proposed solution is explained by the data about the selection of the correlation for determining the quantity of accumulators in one accumulator storage battery and the capacity of the accumulators. Besides, the number of accumulators in each accumulator storage battery increases by the permissible number of failed accumulators, and number of storage batteries selected is equal to two.
EFFECT: increase of efficiency of use of storage batteries and specific power characteristics of autonomous electric power supply system.
