FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering in power supply systems of artificial Earth Satellites (AES). Method means that in an autonomous power supply system of an artificial Earth satellite from a solar battery and a set of secondary sources of electric energy - storage batteries, providing on-load voltage stabilization, containing an onboard computer, a telemetry system and a command-measuring radio line, the storage batteries are charged and discharged through individual charge and discharge converters. Herewith power of the charging converters is calculated basing on the total power of load and power required to charge the storage batteries, and the on-load voltage stabilization is performed only by the discharge converters, herewith every charging converter is controlled by the value of charging current in the mode of charging corresponding storage battery and the established level of own output voltage, and after complete charge of the corresponding storage battery the charging current control is blocked. Besides, the storage battery charge and discharge circuit is blocked by a diode connected in the direction of discharge current flow of the accumulator battery and shunted contacts of additionally introduced switch connected to the load. Herewith the level of own output voltage of the charging converter is selected not more than the open circuit voltage of a charged accumulator battery and the value of level of own output voltage of the charging converter is adjusted during operation.

EFFECT: technical result is the increase of specific power characteristics and quality of output voltage of an autonomous power supply system of AES.
