FIELD: medicine, traumatology.
SUBSTANCE: method includes exposing place of tendon injury, transarticular fixation of distal interphalangeal joint of finger with pin for the whole term of immobilisation, application of removable loop suture on proximal end of affected tendon. Then threads are passed into section of tendon distal end and taken out through soft tissues under nail wall. After that, threads are taken out through distal end of nail plate and thread ends are fixed to pin protruding over skin.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of treatment due to stronger fixation of affected tendon ends and reduction of post-operation complications.
