FIELD: medicine, stomatology.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in that in teeth that have abnormality of edge abutment gingival recess is widened by means of retraction cord, impregnated with aluminium chloride solution, impression by means of basic material of double-layered silicon mass is made, cast mass is removed from interdental space of impression, and offtake grooves are formed. In region of teeth with abnormal edge abutment, only thin edges of cast mass on perimeter of tooth neck are removed, then impression is made by the second layer; for which retraction thread is removed from gingival sulcus, which is thoroughly dried; silicon mass is introduced directly into gingival sulcus of teeth with abnormal edge abutment, and into prepared in advance impression spoon with basic layer of silicon material; spoon with the second layer of material is placed inside oral cavity with slight pressure until its stable positioning in oral cavity is achieved. After hardening of the second layer of material, impression is carefully taken out of oral cavity; quality of obtained print is estimated. In sections with abnormal edge abutment print of gap between edge of artificial crown and tooth neck is obtained, which is used to evaluate depth and localisation of section of cement layer disintegration, for which purpose impression is photographed with digital camera and loaded into computer in programme "Photoshop 7.0". Picture is automatically scaled, by means of millimeter grid placed on it, area of edge abutment abnormality is determined.
EFFECT: possibility to determine cause and degree of abnormality of edge abutment of non-removable orthopedic construction precisely.
