FIELD: engines and pumps, mining operations.

SUBSTANCE: air-lift deep pneumatic flotation machine incorporates a loading device, a 2 m-wide 2.5 m-deep rectangular bath with a bottom pyramidal narrowing. The air-lift arranged in the bath along its lengthwise axis is furnished with foam chutes and divides the bath into two flotation sections. There are also two vertical partitions spaced apart by 150 to 200 mm, an aerator made up of vertical air feed pipes terminating in the Laval nozzles and connected, via a spreader pipe and air duct, with a receiver, fender partitions with an air branch feed pipe arranged above the air-lift. The discharge pool incorporates chutes for tails. The machine is furnished with a deflector arranged beneath the fender partitions above the air-lift with a gap, an air-bubble deflector intended for formation of additional bubbles in the air-lift and furnished with small holes. The said deflector is located along the central axis between the lower ends of the vertical partitions at a distance of 150 mm from the air-lift aerator Laval nozzles. The vertical air-feed pipes run below the bath bottom along its lengthwise axis, the distance between them making 100 to 200 mm and their ends being furnished with an inner thread bosses to receiver the Laval nozzles passing into the bath through its bottom holes. The aforesaid nozzles are furnished with anti-wear side metal plates, one of them hinged to be used for servicing the said nozzles. One of the vertical partitions, opposite the hinged plate, is made up of several parts, its lower parts being linked to the hinged partition upper part.
