FIELD: mining; ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy: devices for minerals concentration.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of mining, in particular, to enrichment of the minerals and to the pneumatic floater and may be used for flotation of minerals in the coal industry, ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy at the ore mills. The technical result of the invention is optimization of the hydrodynamic and aerodynamic conditions of the floatation process and improved reliability of the pneumatic floater operation. The pneumatic floater includes: the cylinder-conic body; the aerator located in the cylindrical part of the body and having Laval nozzles; the discharge devices for the froth product, which are made in the form of the inserted into the conical deflector hollow member with the conical narrowing above and the conical ring connected to the pipe with a branch. The pneumatic floater also has the tank for the internal overflow with the branch pipe for the fine wastes, the gate for the large wastes and the air dispenser mounted in the upper part of the body. The pneumatic floater is supplied with: the flotation chamber conjugated with the lower part of the body; the perforated deflector-distributor of the air babbles arranged in the lower part of the chamber; the deflector of the air babbles made out of the channel section and arranged in parallel to the bottom of the chamber; and also with the additional aerators, which have been made with the air dispensers in the form of Laval nozzles. Laval nozzles are arranged uniformly against the middle of the sides of the perforated deflector-distributor of the air babbles on the outer side of the flotation chamber and its bottom.
EFFECT: the invention ensures optimization of the hydrodynamic and aerodynamic conditions of the floatation process and improved reliability of the pneumatic floater operation.
