FIELD: transport, electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in that the additional wire arranged along the railway line is divided, in equal intervals, into sections spaced consecutively one after another. The beginning of all sections, starting from the first one, are ground-connected via individual ground leads, the sections ends being connected to the track circuit. The number and the length of sections are defined by a minimum level of noise induced in adjoining communication line.

EFFECT: higher compensating current, lower power losses and lower operating costs.
