SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy and can be used for fabrication of equipment of oil and mine industry. Steel with upgraded hardness contains, mass %: carbon 0.1-0.2; silicon 0.2-0.4; manganese 16.0-20.0; chromium 13.0-17.0; nitrogen 0.05-0.1; copper 0.2-0.4; cerium 0.05-0.1; calcium 0.002-0.004; aluminium 0.1-0.2; vanadium 0.2-0.4; nickel 1.5-2.0; strontium 0.02-0.04; iron - the rest. Ultimate tensile strength of steel is 1300-1350 MPa.
EFFECT: upgraded tensile strength of steel.
