FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to testing equipment and may be used for weightlessness of mechanisms with flexible structure of elements during performance of ground tests of mechanisms designed for work in weightlessness. Device contains electric drive of vertical displacement, which is connected to element being deprived of weight with flexible connection that passes through carriage, with loading cell that serves for determination of flexible connection tension force and is displaced along guide line. At that loading cell is connected to electric drive of vertical displacement via control unit, which, in its turn, is connected to electric drive of horizontal displacement via sensor that determines vertical position of flexible connection and installed on carriage. Control unit consists of microcontroller and personal computer.
EFFECT: simplification of structure design for simulation of weightlessness and provision of possibility of weightlessness simulation for movable elements of structures and determination of their characterisitics.
