SUBSTANCE: invention is related to graphic user interfaces. Above part of desktop on display reflection panel is displayed, which includes internal snapshot. In response to detection of snapshot dragging with cursor inside reflection panel, panning of virtual desktop takes place. At that reflection panel preferably includes reduced image of virtual desktop, and part of reduced image of virtual desktop inside snapshot in reflection panel corresponds to part of virtual desktop displayed. Location and non-transparency of reflection panel alter depending on location of cursor in relation to reflection panel and/or actions taken in respect to cursor.
EFFECT: provision of possibility of navigation on graphic user interface on reduced display to users of portable computer devices.
