FIELD: items of personal use.

SUBSTANCE: epilator for body hair removal contains driven by an epilating roller. On the circular surface of the epilating roller preferably tweezers-like clamping elements are stipulated which during its rotation by means of an actuating device are set into cyclic reciprocating movement between the positions of clamping and non-clamping. The actuating device by means of a switch can be turned choosingly to the mode of partial or full operation. In the partial operation mode only a part of clamping elements, and in the full operation mode - all clamping elements cyclically move reciprocatingly between the clamping and non-clamping position.

EFFECT: provision of an easy use in the high efficiency mode and in the mode with a decreased number of epilation processes for a time unit.
