FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the method of films production with thickness that lies in the range from 20 micrometer to 1,000 micrometer from thermoplastic materials by means of plastic extrusion via wide slotted head and smoothening of melted film. Film passes from wide slotted head into calender that contains at least three or four shafts. At that the first pair of shafts forms smoothening gap that is intended for retention of melted film. Melted film is then passed, after gap of specified calender, through the following smoothening gap or following pressing gap. Proportion of head slot width and film thickness lies in the range of 1:1-6:1. At that quotient from division of film cloth rate in the following smoothening gap or following pressing gap by rate of film cloth in smoothening gap, which is formed by the pair of shafts, lies in the range from 0.8 to 1.00.
EFFECT: provision of production of film from thermoplastic materials with different surface effect and high mechanical loads at the account of low molecular orientation of produced films.
