FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: dust arrester contains cylinder cone case with sleeve for inflow of dust gas mixture made with diffuser out of non-ferromagnetic material and with sleeves for gas exhaust and dust discharge, electro magnetic system of dust arresting with magnetoconductors, cell core and support ribs. In the cylinder cone case of the dust arrester there is an access hole through which a gas gate and a dust directing cone are installed. The gas gate is made in form of a pipe with flanges attached to the upper cylinder cone end of the case and support cone with flanges, secured to the cylinder of the arrester case. The dust directing cone is attached to the support cone. Electromagnetic system of dust arresting with magnetoconductors, the cell core and support ribs are arranged on the cylinder with flanges on a stand and, when assembled, it is installed between the flanges of the pipe and the support cone.
EFFECT: decreased dimensions of dust cleaning equipment and simplification of assembly and installation on modernised dust arresters of blast furnaces.
