FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: way of attracting and passing of the fish from the tailrace canal of the waterworks facility to the headrace canal involves creating a controllable water flow along the entire fish-passing canal in each fish way chamber as a result of feeding water by means of pumps or bypass pressure pipes coupled with the headrace canal and integrated into the system of stream forming nozzles. This forms a flow resistance moving along the fish-passing canal through the fish way chambers from the headrace canal resulting in favourable conditions for passing of the fish through the swim-in holes of the fish way towards the headrace canal. A part of the fish way chambers, whose systems of stream forming nozzles of fish-passing holes take the water by means of bypass pressure pipes connected to the headrace canal, discharges the water by means of lateral pipelines or canals into the tailrace of the waterworks facility. This provides an attracting flow sufficient for attracting the fish into the fish way and passing them to the headrace canal. Water consumption supplied using bypass pressure pipes and discharges in the tailrace canal is set up for each swim-in hole separately, which controls a value of the additional force forming the attracting flow. The fish way chambers equipped with bypass pressure pipelines or canals interconnecting the systems of nozzles with the headrace canal are linked by means of discharge pipelines or canals with the tailrace canal of the fish way, which results in a steady operation of the fish way. The bypass pressure pipelines or canals and discharge pipelines or canals are equipped with valves or closure systems enabling to control the operation of the fish way.
EFFECT: enhancement of fish attraction to the fish way and passing of them to the headrace canal of the waterworks facility.
