FIELD: water engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to water engineering, and namely to method of fish passing through support structures into meadows and breeding areas. Method consists in forming controllable water flow throughout the length of fish-passing path. Water flow depends on available working head and type of fish being passed, and is initiated in each fish-pass compartment as result of water flow supply into jet-forming heads located along perimeters of inlet holes provided in division walls and directed to forebay's side. Next step of method is forming of two rows, either parallel or set at an angle to inlet hole axis, of submerged parallel hydraulic jets, and producing, during interrelation of these rows, water jets resistant to main flow moving across fish-passing path through fish-pass compartments from forebay, and thus creating favourable conditions for fish passing through inlet holes in the direction of forebay. According to the first version at the first stage of fish-pass operation, fish pass is filled with water from hydraulic system's afterbay. For this purpose the fish-pass bottom gate is opened, and either fish-pass inlet compartment or fish-pass inlet head is filled with water up to hydraulic system's afterbay. After that there shall be activated jet-forming heads' system on the inlet, i.e. first fish-pass division wall, and there shall be increased water level in fish-pass inlet compartment or fish-pass inlet head up to design level. After jet-forming heads' system arranged on the second fish-pass division wall next to inlet fish-pass division wall is filled with water, it is put into operation, and water level in the second fish-pass compartment next to fish-pass inlet compartment or fish-pass inlet head is increased up to design level. After jet-forming heads' system arranged on the third fish-pass division wall is filled with water, it is put into operation, and water level in the third fish-pass compartment is increased up to design level. After jet-forming heads' system arranged on the fourth fish-pass division wall is filled with water, previous cycles are repeated for many times in similar way till jet-forming heads' system provided on upper fish-pass division wall is filled with water. After jet-forming heads' system provided on upper fish-pass division wall is filled with water, fish-pass top gate is opened and at the same time jet-forming heads' system on upper fish-pass division wall is put into operation. According to the second version at the first stage of fish-pass operation, fish pass is filled with water from hydraulic system's forebay with subsequent water filling from hydraulic system's afterbay. In this case the fish-pass top gate is slightly opened and water flow is supplied, and then fish-pass is filled with water. After fish-pass inlet compartment or fish-pass inlet head is filled with water up to design level, jet-forming heads' system on inlet fish-pass division wall is activated with simultaneous fish-pass bottom gate opening. After that jet-forming heads' systems on all the rest fish-pass division walls are activated at one and the same time, and then fish-pass top gate is fully opened.
EFFECT: invention improves control efficiency of fish-pass initial operating stage.
