FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: sensor contains first either monocular, or binocular day-time or night-time observation channel including first lens and first eyepiece, and second observation channel including second lens, second eyepiece and interspaced image inverting system designed as either optical system, or electronic transducer. Optical axes of first and second lenses are parallel, while optical axes of first and second eyepieces are intersected at the angle ϕ at 10-12 mm behind exit pupil of first eyepiece. Angle ϕ answers the ratio arctgD/L <ϕ≤30°, where D is external diameter of first eyepiece, and L is distance of last lens of first eyepiece to its exit pupil. Versions of observation sensor, second channel are provided.
EFFECT: possibility of fast change of an angular visual field of sensor without human intervention with extended performance.
