FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: night vision device has either a monocular, or binocular, or pseudo binocular fist observation channel, including one first objective, one first image converter and a first ocular, second observation channel containing one receiving unit, second objective and an image conversion system, light-sensitive area which is optically interlinked with the image plane of the second objective, and connected to the ocular unit by receiving unit. The device also consists of a second ocular and a plane for forming the converted image from the receiving unit, optically interlinked with the object plane of the second ocular. The receiving unit is placed such that, the space of the objects of the first and second objects do not coincide. The optical axes of the first and second oculars intersect at an angle ϕ, at a distance of 10-12 mm behind the exit pupil of the first ocular.
EFFECT: design of a compact night vision device, providing for successive observation of an object either through spectacles or directly.
