FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: device contains multiple offsets, which track one or more traceable beams of transponder. Each traceable beam is emitted by the corresponding traceable transponder. The device determines energy value of traceable beam probe for each of traceable beams, and energy value of non-traceable beams for each of one or more non-traceable beams emitted by each of tracked transponders. The device attempts to determine the most preferable of non-traceable beams, which is to become a traceable beam. The determination is based upon energy values of traceable and non-traceable beams. The device assigns or, alternatively, reassigns an offset for the preferable non-traceable beam, if the attempt to determine the one was successful. The transponders can be an associate or base stations.
