SUBSTANCE: grating device contains cylindrical drum with horizontal axis of rotation and flail blades fixed on its lateral surface, deck covering drum, loading and unloading openings. The flail blades have reeves placed at an angle to their longitudinal axis. The quantity of flail blades with the reeves located at an acute angle to the basic direction of material movement exceeds quantity of flail blades with the reeves located at an obtuse angle to the basic direction of material movement.

EFFECT: intensification of seed grating process.
