FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machinery and can be used for grating the seeds of permanent grasses and other cultures. Grater comprises case, cylindrical drum, deck, loading neck and discharge pipe. Cylindrical drum has horizontal shaft and solid grating surface. Said deck has blind grating surface. Cylindrical drum is rigidly fixed on said shaft to turn therewith. Solid grating surface is composed by steel hexagonal cross-section rods. Said rods are arranged at rib relative to the drum cylindrical surface. This device allows a high efficiency of seeds grating.
