FIELD: plastic metal working, namely determination of technological parameters of shaping processes. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of determining value of boundary conditions of shaping as summed deformation caused by creation of assumed cylindrical curvature with largest preset percentage radius and deformation equal to half value of maximum thinning of blank increased by value exceeding deformation rate determined in comparison with deformation received after testing standard samples for bending or tensioning. Value of minimally admissible summed deformation that does not cause inadmissible change of mechanical properties of blank material is not to be more than minimum value of uniform percentage elongation of material after testing standard five-fold samples for tension. Value of admissible summed deformation that does not break material integrity is determined according to standard testing by bending until occurrence of first visible by human eye microcracking with allowance for percentage curvature radius no less than 15%. EFFECT: lowered metal and labor consumption of shaping process due to elimination of cutting out samples from ready articles. 3 dwg
