FIELD: medicine, virology.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary virology and biotechnology. New industrial strain of turkey herpesvirus "Vladimir" is produced. Virus is reproduced in cell culture of SPF-chicken embryo fibroblasts (CEF). Series passages provide viral infectious titre in CEF cell culture 3.5-106 FRC/cm3. Viral vaccine based on specified strain is used to prevent Marek's disease for day chickens.
EFFECT: production of new industrial strain of turkey herpesvirus.
