FIELD: physics, measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of seismic exploration and may be used in searching for natural hydrocarbons. Receiver of seismic oscillations is installed in observation point. Information signals are registered by their measured components within period of time that is sufficient for recording of statistically valid noise signal in infra-low frequency range. Spectral characteristics are calculated with application of Fourier-transform of received signals, they are analysed for availability of false signals and signals from payout bed with natural hydrocarbons. False signals are excluded from consideration. Analysis of remaining signals is carried out with making judgement on availability or absence of hydrocarbons. At that registration and recording are carried out by vertical components of information signals in frequency range of 0.5-50 Hz, which corresponds to range of basement depth.
EFFECT: higher validity of hydrocarbon deposits detection.
