FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical machines. The proposed method of withdrawing the shroud ring from the collector ring circular groove includes a repeated press-fitting of the collector ring to rule out shroud ring seat tightening on the collector ring bracket seat surface, mounting a service tool representing an electromagnet enveloping the shroud ring circumferential edges to withdraw the said shroud ring.
EFFECT: reduced labour input, power and material consumption, higher quality of collectors with inner shroud rings.
